An An experimental documentary unraveling themes of displacement, abandonment, and death - told through the eyes of unwanted plants.
Disillusioned by rigid narratives and drawn to the fleeting intimacy of transactional encounters with strangers online, I am in the process of conducting interviews with people on Craigslist who are giving away their well loved plants. Mainly focusing on those who are cornered into moving against their will, I’m exploring the bittersweet logic behind letting go of a living thing once nurtured with devotion.
